AC1 Maurice Burrell was stationed at Shinfield Park in 1948/9.
He shared a hut at Blandford Lodgs with John Harvey. He was later to become the Rev Canon Burrell, a prominent C of E clergyman. Unfortunately, Maurice died in 2008; there is an obituary here.
